Core: Resistance and Weakness

Some characters can be resistant or weak to specific sources or types of damage. There are four levels of weakness and resistance:

Vulnerable

Vulnerable characters are particularly weak to a source or type of damage. They roll a Save when taking damage from a source or type they are vulnerable to.

  • 16 or above: The character takes normal damage

  • 10-15: The character takes double damage

  • 9 or below: The character takes triple damage

Weak

Characters weak to a damage source or type are at higher risk of significant injury when taking damage from that source or type. They roll a Save when taking damage they are weak to.

  • 16 or above: The character takes normal damage

  • 10-15: The character takes 2 Additional damage

  • 9 or below: The character takes double damage

Resistant

Characters that are resistant to a damage source or type are slightly better at avoiding or ignoring wounds from that source of damage. They roll a Save when taking damage they are weak to.

  • 16 or above: The character takes half damage. This cannot be less than 1.

  • 10-15: The character reduces incoming damage by 2. This cannot be less than 1.

  • 9 or below: The character takes normal damage

Immune

Immune characters cannot be damaged by a specific source or type of damage. They ignore all incoming damage and do not have to roll a Save to do so.
